Kenya Gold Medalist Exchanges Medal For Brazilian Hair

Vivian Cheruiyot, a Kenyan gold medalist who won the women’s 5000m final at the just ended Olympics in Rio has exchanged her Gold medal for a natural Brazilian hair.

“I cannot come to Brazil and leave without an original Brazilian hair. The Chinese have been supplying us with fake ones and this is the time for me to have the original, the natural one of course” – Vivian told the press.

Vivian exchanged her gold for the hair of a Brazilian whose name was only given as Cruz. Cruz cut her hair and received a gold a medal in return.

“My hair shall grow again so I have no problem. I did not take part in the Olympics but have gotten gold.” – Cruz said.

“I’m still young and capable of winning more gold medals. So letting just one gold medal go isn’t a problem. Next Olympics, I’ll win gold in all my games.” – Vivian added.
